Via the satelite

Hello! well, here i am in the pacific, there is no wifi, no adsl : only satelite internet access, so no pictures can be uploaded and my time is on line is hence very limited.

A proper summary of my last days in LA will follow latter, what i can say is that I had an absolutly wonderful time there.

Here in the tropics I have been on Bora Bora, Maupiti and noz I just arrived at Raeatea (these are all very dificult to pronouce)! I,ve been scuba diving, mountain climbing, hiking and snorkling. Its a very difierent life here and it took me a good few days to adjust.

Guess what? My time is already up, so the poetry and words of thought will have to wait… I hope tyou are all doing very well and I send you all my love.

Walter may arrive monday at Bora Bora at the pension Maevera (where i am staying) and then I have to decide if I am going to visit an Atol on my way to the Marquise: an isolated group of mountain spikes in the middle of endless ocean where life is still somewhat remotely uncivilized (yes even more than here) and one must arrange all forms of living and transport aith the locals at every moment of the day…

If I go to the Marquise I will stay 1 more week in polenesia and a bit less time in the cook islands… ive heard cook is doable in 4 or 5 days anyways (its just 1 place to visit really)

bye for now! satelite connexction terminated…

    Sebbie, Darling,

Don’t spend too long in the Cooks, make the most of Polenisia. I ended up with cabin fever whilst I was there! (it’s basically an island full of the little rich kids riding round on scooters before they fly off to the next place they want to ‘do’). You’ll see what i mean when i get there. Try and get to Aitutaki. It will be worth the cash.

    Love you,
